Lenovo’s Motorola officially unveiled its latest Smartphones, Moto Z and Moto Z Force, after launching exclusively on Verizon Wireless in the United States, and they’re definitely worthy of attention. The new Moto Z and Moto Z Force are true powerhouses with impressive specifications and features all around, wrapped up in sleek designs to make them look and feel premium.
Specifications of Moto Z Force
The new Moto Z Force features a 5.5-inch AMOLED display with a Q-HD (Quad-HD) resolution of 2,560 * 1,440 pixels, rocking a shatter-proof panel to guarantee the screen doesn’t break or crack even if you drop the phone. The device is powered by a Snapdragon 820 processor clocked at 2.2 GHz that come with 4 GB LPDDR4 RAM and Adreno 530 GPU.
The smartphone further packs 32 GB or 64 GB internal storage space, that can be expanded via micro-SD up to a 2 TB. Other specs include a front-mounted fingerprint scanner under the screen, a 21 mega-pixel rear camera with OIS (optical image stabilization), PDAF (phase detection auto-focus) and an f/1.8 aperture, and a 5 mega-pixel selfie cam with wide-angle lens and flash.
The Moto Z Force is backed with a 3,500 mAh battery that should last up to 40 hours on a single charge, while Rapid Charging delivers up to 15 hours with just a 15-minute charge. The device comes in Fine Gold with White front lens, Black with Rose Gold trim and Black front lens, or Black with Lunar Grey trim and Black front lens color options
Specifications of Moto Z
The Moto Z Droid features a 5.5-inch Q-HD AMOLED display with Gorilla Glass protection, but not with the shatterproof protection as that of the Force model. In terms of processing power, RAM, storage and micro-SD, it is similar to the Moto Z Force Smartphone.
Other specs include a 13 mega-pixel rear camera with an f/1.8 aperture, laser auto-focus and OIS, a 5 mega-pixel front shooter with wide-angle lens and flash, and a front-mounted fingerprint scanner located under the display, just like with the Moto Z Force.
In terms of battery life, the Moto Z Droid has a 2,600 mAh unit that should last for up to 30 hours of use, while the Turbo charging mode should deliver up to eight hours of battery life with a 15-minute rapid charge.
Both the Moto Z and the Moto Z Force comes with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow pre-installed out of the box, and both support modular accessories called Moto Mods.
The new-generation Droids will hit Verizon Wireless this summer, however the exact launch date is yet to be announced. Mean while, both the Smartphones are currently trending in the Market as per there specifications and price group.
