Micromax launched two new smartphones there by adding two new devices under its Canvas Unite Series. The smartphones are named as Canvas Unite 4 and Canvas Unite 4 Pro. Both the smartphones runs on Indus 2.0 OS and are equipped with fingerprint sensor as well. The Unite 4 is priced for Rs 6,999 and the Unite 4 Pro is priced for Rs 7,499. The Unite 4 will be available in offline stores and the Unite 4 Pro will be Snapdeal exclusive.
Both smartphones are targeted at first-time smartphone users, and the Unite 4 and Unite 4 Pro run on Android-based Indus OS 2.0. The talking point of the Indus OS is the support for 12 regional languages. The OS also features an App Bazaar, which is basically an app store in regional language, Indus-to-Indus free messaging services, Indus Swipe feature and more.

The smartphone features a 5-inch IPS HD display and is powered by a 1 GHz quad-core processor paired with 1 GB RAM. Also it has 8 GB internal storage, which is further expandable up to 64 GB using a micro-SD card. It has an 8 mega-pixel rear camera and a five mega-pixel front camera. The Unite 4 is also powered by a 2,500 mAh battery, and includes connectivity options like dual-SIM card slots, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and 4G.

The Canvas Unite 4 Pro sports a 5-inch IPS HD display and is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor. The smartphone is equipped with a 2 GB RAM and internal storage of 16 GB, which is expandable up to 32 GB using a micro-SD card. The camera specifications are the same as the Unite 4 with 8 mega-pixel on the rear end and 5 mega-pixel on the front. It currently runs on Android Lollipop but it can be upgraded to Android Marshmallow. The smartphone is powered by a 3,900 mAh battery and offers connectivity options like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 4G.
