Just after launching the Meizu M3E smartphone last month, Meizu has now launched the M3 Max smartphone in the home country. The M3 Max is priced at CNY 1,699 (approx US $250 or INR 16,000) and will be available for pre-orders in China from September 12. The M3 Max smartphone will be available in Champagne Gold, Grey Rose Gold and Silver color variants.
The Meizu M3 Max smartphone features a 6-inch Full-HD (1080p) display and is powered by MediaTek Helio P10 processor (four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1 GHz and four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.8 GHz) that comes with 3 GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage that can be expanded up to 128 GB via micro-SD card. The smartphone will run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS that comes with company’s Flyme OS 5.2 skin.
The smartphone features a 13 mega-pixel rear camera phase-detection auto-focus (PDAF) for fast focus in just 0.2 seconds, Sony IMX258 sensor and a 5 mega-pixel front camera. The smartphone also has a finger print scanner embedded as the home button. The device is backed with a huge 4,100 mAh battery that supports mCharge fast charging feature and can charge up to 45 percent in 30 minutes as claimed by the company.
The connectivity options on the smartphone includes Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, 3G, 4G. Sensors on the phone include proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, accelerometer, and gyroscope. The smartphone measures 163.40 x 81.60 x 7.7 mm and weighs 189 grams.
Meizu recently launched its new smartphone, the Meizu M3E at an event held in China in order to compete directly to the likes of Xiaomi and LeEco smartphones in the home country. The M3E takes the likes from the Meizu M3 Note that was launched earlier in April. The smartphone is priced at CNY 1,299 (approx US $195 or INR 13,000).
