Lenovo Vibe K5 Smartphone launched in India: Price and Specification

Soon after launching the Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus in India earlier this year, the Lenovo has launched a more affordable variant of the smartphone. The smartphone is named as Lenovo Vibe K5 and is priced at Rs. 6,999. The smartphone will be available through a flash sale model on Amazon India, with registrations beginning Monday 1 pm for the sale at 2 pm on June 22. It will be available in Gold, Silver, and Grey color variants.

The dual-SIM (Micro-SIM cards) Lenovo Vibe K5 was globally unveiled at MWC 2016 alongside the Vibe K5 Plus. The Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus however made it to India in March at Rs. 8,499.

Specifications of Lenovo Vibe K5

The Lenovo Vibe K5 is exactly similar to the Vibe K5 Plus. The Vibe K5 Plus featured a 5-inch full HD (1920 * 1080 pixels) display and was powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 616 64-bit octa-core processor. Where as, the new Vibe K5 features a 5-inch HD (1280 * 720 pixels) display and is powered by 1.4 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 415 octa-core processor.

The Lenovo Vibe K5 comes with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage, which can be expanded up to 32 GB via a micro-SD card. On the camera front, it is equipped with a 13 mega-pixel auto-focus rear camera with LED flash. And on the front, there is a 5 mega-pixel selfie camera.

The Lenovo Vibe K5 is backed by a 2,750 mAh battery, stereo speakers at the back with support for Dolby ATMOS, and connectivity options like dual-SIM card slots, 4G LTE support, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth. On the software front, it runs on Android Lollipop 5.1 OS. The device measures 142 * 71 * 8.2 mm and weighs 150 grams.
