After the success of the ZUK Z1 smartphone in India, it seems that Lenovo is in hurry to launch the ZUK Z2 smartphone in the country. The ZUK Z2 smartphone will be launched in India as Lenovo Z2 Plus any time this month. Company has recently released teaser on its official Twitter account with the hashtag FastForward. Today, company has posted some videos in which it says the smartphone will be stronger than metal.
Alongwith the video, Lenovo tweeted,”The Lenovo Z2 Plus is made of something much stronger & lighter than Metal. Find out now! #FastForward”. Second video shows that the smartphone will feature U-Touch for navigation around the UI. Alongwith this video Lenovo tweeted “The Lenovo Z2 PLUS will make your life even more convenient! Watch to find out how. #FastForward”.
The Lenovo had already launched the ZUK Z2 smartphone in China at 1,799 Yuan (approx US $273 or INR 18,400). It is expected that the company will launch the same smartphone in India but the name will be the Lenovo Z2 Plus. Lenovo ZUK Z2 features a 5-inch Full-HD (1080p) display. The device is powered by 2.15 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor that comes with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage.
Lenovo ZUK Z2 features a 13 mega-pixel primary camera and an 8 mega-pixel front shooter. The rear camera gets EIS, f/2.2 aperture and phase detection auto-focus (PDAF). ZUK Z2 also features support for slow motion video shooting at 960 fps. The device was announced in Black and White color variants. The ZUK Z2 runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS and comes with a fingerprint scanner as its home button.
The 8.45 mm thick ZUK Z2 is backed with a 3,500 mAh battery and supports Qualcomm’s latest Quick Charge 3.0 technology. Lenovo ZUK Z2 supports LTE (including the Indian bands) and Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.1 and uses USB Type-C port for charging.
