Huawei Mate 9 smartphone reported to come with Leica’s dual-rear camera setup

Huawei recently unveiled its two new smartphone, the Huawei Nova and the Huawei Nova Plus at IFA 2016, Berlin. Both the smartphones are priced at US $446 and $480 respectively that puts them in mid-ranged category of the smartphones. Now, it is also expected that company will launch its another flagship smartphone, the Huawei Mate 9 sooner or later this year. And to be more exciting, the reports are claiming that the smartphone will feature a rear dual camera setup as we have seen in Huawei P9 and Huawei Honor 8 smartphones.

As per the sources, Huawei Mate 9’s camera has been a discussed by many analysts. As per the Lihuai Bin Robin, an analyst on Weibo, said that the Mate 9’s camera will resemble the one that will be available on the iPhone 7 plus and will feature OIS (optical image stabilization) and analog zoom. But unlike the iPhone 7 Plus, the Mate 9’s camera lenses will capture color shots, while the other one will take monochrome pictures.

Pan Jiutang said that the Mate 9’s cameras will be supplied by Leica, well, camera lenses will, just like they were for the Huawei P9 and P9 Plus earlier this year. The Huawei Mate 9 is expected to features a 5.7-inch/ 6-inch full-HD (1080p) or Quad-HD (1440p) display and will be powered by company’s HiSilicon Kirin 960 processor that will come with 4 GB/ 6 GB RAM and multiple storage options.

The smartphone is said to run on Huawei’s Emotion UI (EMUI) 5 based on Android 7.0 Nougat OS. The smartphone will come in an all metal body with two rear cameras paced on the back of the device. Stay connected for the more updates.
