Few days back, Huawei’s new upcoming smartphone, the Huawei Honor 6X was spotted on TENAA certifications. The smartphone is said to be the successor of the Honor 5X smartphone that was launched by the company last year. Huawei claims that the Honor 5X alone sold more than 8 million units in its first nine months on the market. Also, the TENAA certification gave us the glimpse of the specs of the smartphone.
Now, as per the recent reports, Huawei is expected to launch the Honor 6X smartphone on October 18. Key specifications and images of the Honor 6X first came out in the open in a TENAA certification that reveals the dual-rear camera setup on the smartphone. Honor 6X is also said to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 625 processor, 2/3 GB RAM and and 32 GB expandable storage. The TENAA filing also reveals the handset will bear the model number BLN-AL10 and incorporate an USB Type-C port, with dual-SIM and 4G LTE support.
Although details about the camera’s sensor size and aperture remain unknown at this moment, we can expect the rear and front shooters to feature the similar specifications as was seen in Huawei P9 or Huawei Honor 8. That was thanks to the Chinese company’s collaboration with Leica, though it remains to be seen whether the Leica tie-up will extend to Honor phones. The smartphone is expected to have a 5.5-inch Full HD (1080p) display and will run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS. And below the camera setup, a fingerprint scanner also appears in the image.
The smartphone is expected to come in an all metal uni-body design. As mentioned earlier, smartphone is expected to be launch on October 18, though, the launch date is not yet confirmed by the company. Stay connected for the further updates.
