How to find MAC address and ip in Windows XP

Type cmd at the Open prompt on the Run menu and click OK to start a command prompt window.

Type ipconfig / all at the command prompt to verify the network card settings.

The IP number and MAC address are listed by ipconfig in IP address and Physical address.

Copy the physical address and the IP address

You can copy the physical address and the IP address of the command prompt by right-clicking the prompt and clicking Mark. N select the text you want to copy with the mouse and press the Enter key.
