In recent weeks, the Pixel 3 XL has leaked extensively into renders, live photos, and even specifications. The latest packaging reveals the next generation of Made by Google devices, including a pair of Pixel Buds-like USB-C headsets. Obtained by a Russian Telegram channel (via Android Police) the white version of the Pixel 3 XL has been leaked again.
The new photos show in early June a phone that is very similar to the alleged Pixel 3 XL in photos posted on the XDA Developers forum. Both sets of images show a white handset with a clear iPhone X-style notch on the front display. Google has released Android Pie Monday, and we know that the new version of the operating system supports phones with notches. Earlier leaked images of the Pixel 3 have also revealed a notch.
However, the new images show some additional details, including a wired power adapter and charging cable. Previously, XDA developers found evidence in the second beta of Android P that pointed to support for wireless charging, so the new leak blurs those waters. Another oddity is the USB-C to 3.5 mm headphone adapter shown in one of the new photos; a wired version of Google’s Pixel Buds would be something new.
Other specifications on the screen of the phone are the Android 9 operating system, an octa-core Qualcomm processor, an Adreno 630 GPU and a display with a resolution of 2,960×1,440 pixels. For the most part, the design and specifications in the new photos confirm rumors we have seen before.
