Fortnite Mobile for Android can get its big public revelation today. Previously, a video has surfaced explaining what you’d expect when Epic Games finally lifts the lid on its fights royal sensation for Google’s OS. Thanks to serial Fortnite Android leaker XDA, it seems we know that Fortnite Mobile for Android will work with Samsung and non-Samsung devices. The game ran on what the site claims to be ‘Epic’ settings, that is, every graphics option maximally on a Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus.
Fitting since its internal parts, similar to the soon to be launched Samsung Galaxy Note 9, which will have the game probably 30 days exclusive. From what we can see, it looks like what you would expect from the game running on an iPhone 8 Plus or iPhone X, but given the shaky nature of the images, it is a closer inspection, something we hope to do when Fortnite for Android is finally available.
“All hope is not lost, however, Max’s Essential Phone and Kieron’s Google Pixel 2 XL were both rooted and able to enter a game, I suspect one or more of the system changes I made while tinkering with my phone , the SafetyNet check caused failure, so I was not able to play a full game before I was kicked in. So although this means that devices that are robotized with Magisk must be able to play the game, you have to you prepare for a new wave of battles with the SafetyNet API “, writes XDA’s Mishaal Rahman.
It seems that most medium and cheap Android devices Fortnite may not be able to play. According to the report, Fortnite Android does not support MediaTek or Nvidia Tegra SoCs at launch. Also, most Qualcomm, HiSilicon and Samsung chips such as the Snapdragon 660, Kirin 659 and Exynos 7885 cannot run the game. What this means is that mid-range smartphone like the Xiaomi Mi A2, Honor 9N and Samsung Galaxy A8 Fortnite may not be able to run.
With that in mind, it is entirely possible that Epic Games can further optimize the game for greater compatibility on the full range of Android devices, and see how the Nintendo Switch can execute the game. Though it is terrible, we will not be surprised that the Fortnite Mobile compatibility list for Android increases over time.
