Banner Saga is an extremely polished RPG, immersed in Viking mythology. The god abandoned the world, leaving it sunless and powerless for the violent whims of a historic mechanical race. Giants and people are forced into an unlikely alliance to survive the ordeal. Players jump between meaningful dialogue sessions and switch-based fighting with 25 totally different characters, spanning 5 different classes. Failure in a crucial battle or attending to your caravan of survivors leaves lasting results for the rest of the game.

9 PIXEL DUNGEON

A procedurally generated dungeon within the tradition of NetHack, Angband and the classic Rogue, Pixel Dungeon generates a new random dungeon for each move. As a warrior, wizard, or rogue, you can explore the depths, discover looting, experience mysterious spells and unidentified potions, and fight nefarious enemies. Just like in different Rogue games, you only get one save slot and death is permanent, however, that’s part of the thrill of this bite-sized dungeon tracking.
10) FINAL FANTASY VI
First released in 1994, Final Fantasy VI is, in a way, the cornerstone of Japanese 16-bit RPGs. This title combines the Final Fantasy Active Time Battle system and detailed task customization with an epic, interwoven story of a world that is still recovering from war. Larger than just a straight door, the mobile version of the FFVI options has remastered the artwork, reworked touch screen controls, iCloud saves and additional content from the Game Boy Advance 2006 version of the game.
