Asus ZenFone 5Z is now receiving a new upgrade that improves many camera functions. This will enhance the range of capabilities of the dual-rear lenses of the phone and the sensors on the front. The latest update is available in the form of a FOTA package, so it must be automatically seeded. You can also manually download the update by going to Settings> System> System Updates.
ZenFone 5Z users can now save images in the RAW file format. This allows not only a compressed file size with higher image quality, but also those who choose to edit their pictures. Besides, the latest update will also enable the panorama mode on the phone, while the flash mode is activated in Pro mode. ZenFone 5Z users can also switch between on/off buttons in electronic image stabilization (EIS) mode. These changes come in addition to a real-time filter upgrade, as well as improvements in autofocus capabilities and slow-motion video quality.
Speaking of the specifications, the Asus ZenFone 5Z has a 6.2-inch Full HD + IPS-notched display and a 19: 9 aspect ratio. The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 845 chip and is backed by a 3300mAh battery. The ZenFone 5Z runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with a ZenUI layer on it. It comes in three storage options: 4 GB RAM + 64 GB memory, 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage.
Zenfone 5Z has a configuration with the dual-rear camera, which is stacked vertically. This camera features a 12 MP Sony IMX363 primary sensor f/1.8 aperture and OIS support, 8 MP OmniVision 8856 sensor with f/2.2 aperture, which offers a 120-degree wide-angle camera. In terms of connectivity, this phone features 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11ac (2.4GHz / 5GHz), NFC, Bluetooth v5.0, FM radio, USB OTG, GPS / A- GPS, GLONASS, USB Type-C (Gen1) and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It also comes with sensors such as Accelerator, gyro, ambient light and proximity sensors.
