Asus launched new version of Zenfone Selfie with 13 mega-pixel front camera in India: Price and Specifications

Asus has recently now launched the refreshed version of its much popular selfie-centered smartphone, the Asus Zenfone Selfie. The smartphone now comes in an all new design with diamond cut back finish and will now be powered by 3 GB RAM. Also, the smartphone will now feature a 13 mega-pixel front camera to enhance the quality of selfies and will be a great choice for those selfie lovers.

The Zenfone Selfie will be offered in Sheer Gold, Glacier Gray, Illusion Smooth Pink, Illusion Polygon Blue and Polygon-Illusion Diamond White color variants and is priced at INR 12,999 (approx US $195) and is available for purchase from Amazon India. The device will also be available on retails stores from next month.

Specifications of Asus Zenfone Selfie

The new Zenfone Selfie features a 5.5-inch full HD (1080p resolution) display. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 615 64-bit octa-core processor that comes with 3 GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage which can be further expanded up to 128 GB via micro-SD card. The smartphone is also equipped with Adreno 405 GPU. The device will run on Android 5.0.1 Lollipop OS.

The Zenfone Selfie comes with a 13 mega-pixel rear camera of aperture f/2.0 with laser auto-focus dual tone LED flash, and a 13 mega-pixel selfie camera of aperture f/2.2 with dual tone LED flash. The device is backed with a 3,000 mAh battery and weighs 170 grams.

Apart from these, Asus Zenfone Selfie also supports Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, WiFi-Direct, Bluetooth 4.0, FM Radio, GPS, AGPS, Glonass and micro USB. Sensors include Accelerator, E-Compass, Proximity, Ambient light sensor, Hall sensor and Gyro sensor.
