Asus has launched two new members to its Zenfone 3 family. After the launch of Zenfone 3, Zenfone 3 Deluxe and Zenfone 3 Ultra, Asus has now officially announced the Zenfone 3 Laser and Zenfone 3 Max, thus, making the Asus Zenfone 3 family even bigger. Both the smartphones were announced in an event that was held in Vietnam.
As the name sounds, Zenfone 3 Laser is said to be the successor to the Zenfone 2 Laser. It comes with ultra fast 0.03s second-generation laser auto-focus system for its 13 mega-pixel PixelMaster 3.0 camera that uses the Sony IMX214 sensor. The camera features electronic image stabilization too and a color correction sensor as reported by GSM Arena.
The phone also reported to have a metal body, a 5.5-inch 1080p touchscreen with 2.5 D glass on top, 4 GB RAM, 32 GB internal storage, a fingerprint sensor, and 7.9 mm thickness. In Vietnam, it will cost VND 5,990,000, which is about $268, €241 and INR 17,900.
The Zenfone 3 Max features a 4,100 mAh battery, which is huge but still not bigger than that of Zenfone Max‘s 5,000 mAh cell. It also features a metal body, as well as a 5.2-inch IPS LCD touchscreen, 3 GB RAM, 32 GB internal storage and a quick fingerprint scanner. It will cost VND 4,490,000 which is approx $201, €181 and INR 13,500 as reported by GSM Arena.
Asus has yet to announce the complete specs and availability details for both the smartphones outside the Vietnam.
