Both the iPhone devices features an all new design with the antenna lines, which previously ran across the back panel on top and bottom, now run on the sides, thus making them look more premium than previous iPhone versions. In addition to rose gold, silver and gold color, both the iPhones will be seen in two new colors, a matte black and a jet (glossy) black (ditching the space black color). The iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus also features a redesigned home button which is now solid-state and force-sensitive, that uses Taptic vibrations instead of a physical click, just like the track-pad on the latest MacBook and MacBook Pro models.
That dual rear-camera setup
The iPhone 7 features a 4.7-inch Retina HD display with the iPhone 7 Plus features a 5.5-inch Retina HD display. No headphone jack
As expected, the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus also ditched the headphone jack. Apple will use the Lightning port for audio. Each new iPhone model will come with bundled Lightning EarPods, and a Lightning-to-3.5 mm audio adapter, so you can use your old headphones. The speakers in iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus are stereo – one at the bottom, and one at the top, and twice as loud as their predecessors. Apple has also added IP67 water and dust resistance, a first for the iPhone series.
New A10 Fusion Processor
Talking about the performance, the two iPhone 7 handsets are powered by the new quad-core Apple A10 Fusion processor. The processor has two high performance cores and two high efficiency cores for a longer battery life. It also has a new 6-core GPU which is 50% faster than the Apple A9 processor. Apple also introduced new AirPods for wireless audio experience, which will not be bundled with the iPhone models. They pair easily with your Apple devices, thanks to the W1 chip inside new Apple devices that’s used for wireless communication. They are rated to delivery 5 hours of battery life, up to 24 hours with the included charging case that is also used for carrying them around. Stay connected for further updates.
